About the Role
Are you a passionate developer looking to launch your career in tech? We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to join our Engineering team in Milan. You will work closely with senior engineers and UX designers to build responsive, accessible user interfaces for our enterprise clients.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain frontend components using React and TypeScript
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive web pages
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library
- Collaborate with backend engineers to consume and integrate REST APIs
- Participate in agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Learn and grow through pair programming and mentorship from the senior team
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Solid fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Familiarity with React or a similar component-based framework
- Basic understanding of version control with Git
- Eagerness to learn, curiosity, and a proactive attitude
- Good communication skills in English (Italian is a plus)
Nice to Have
- Personal projects or portfolio showcasing frontend work
- Exposure to design systems or component libraries (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design)
- Interest in accessibility (WCAG) and performance optimization
